Senior Security Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Security Analyst focused on Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Threat Hunting, you will play a critical role in defending OutSystems’ digital assets and global operations.

• Lead and support complex investigations in a 24/7 global SOC.
• Proactively detect threats and drive strategic improvements in security operations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Continuously hunt for anomalies across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance security posture.
• Develop and maintain incident response and threat hunting playbooks.
• Identify gaps and contribute to capability building for detection and response.
• Translate technical findings into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
• Work with engineering and DevSecOps teams to improve detection coverage.
• Utilize threat intelligence to inform defense strategies.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in SOC or enterprise security.
• In-depth knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework and adversary TTPs.
• Strong understanding of SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar.
• Proficiency in scripting or query languages such as Python and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Experience with log analysis and forensic tools.
• Strong communication skills for presenting to stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications or a degree in cybersecurity.
