• Identify and pitch trending stories, both quick-turn and long-form.
• Run the news desk, assigning and editing stories.
• Collaborate with editors, writers, and social media teams.

• 3+ years of experience in sports journalism required.
• Strong knowledge of AP style and writing style.
• Flexibility to work holidays as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of newsroom experience covering sports.
• Strong interest and knowledge of sports across various verticals.
• Familiarity with FOX Sports properties.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure.
• Flexible schedule for nights and weekends.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field preferred.
• Copyediting training/experience is a plus.
