Accounting Manager - Debt Instruments - Remote

Overview

This role is responsible for managing all aspects of accounting and financial reporting related to all our debt instruments, overseeing month-end close processes, and ensuring accurate reporting.

In Short

• Oversee the month end close process related to debt and securitization transactions.
• Review and approve journal entries for closing the books.
• Prepare, reconcile, and review balance sheet accounts related to debt.
• Manage preparation and review of debt schedules for internal and external reporting.
• Prepare month-over-month flux analysis of Actuals versus Plan.
• Prepare and review debt-related schedules for audit and SOX compliance.
• Oversee process improvements through automation.
• Assist with ad hoc accounting/finance projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of general accounting experience.
• Four-year bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access).
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and adaptability to change.
• Big four public accounting experience preferred.
• Certified public accountant (CPA) preferred.
