Overview

As a SOC Analyst, you’ll be part of a team that helps protect organizations from real-world cyber threats. You’ll learn how to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents while continuously developing your technical skills.

In Short

  • Monitoring and analyzing security alerts to detect potential incidents
  • Investigating phishing emails, suspicious activity, and malware samples
  • Supporting incident response activities (triage, recovery, and reporting)
  • Tuning and improving detection rules and security alerts
  • Researching emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attacker techniques
  • Assisting with security tools like SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and vulnerability scanners
  • Helping improve documentation and security processes (runbooks, playbooks)
  • Working alongside experienced analysts for mentoring and hands-on practice

Requirements

  • Strong interest in cybersecurity and problem-solving
  • Experience with personal or academic projects in threat detection, malware analysis, or network security
  • Understanding of basic networking and internet protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS)
  • Experience with tools like Wireshark, Splunk, Security Onion, ELK, or EDR platforms
  • Clear communication skills in English
  • Eligibility for NATO clearance
  • Experience in security monitoring or log analysis (SIEM/SOAR) is a plus
  • Using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK is a plus
  • Building detection rules or security automations is a plus
  • Participating in CTFs or security labs is a plus
