Independent Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Telehealth - Remote

Overview

MySpectrum Counseling & Coaching is looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team through the provision of Telehealth. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an outpatient mental health practice, as well as experience providing Telehealth, to a variety of clients with a variety of mental health needs. This person is responsible for assessing patient need for medication, prescribing medication, medication management and monitoring, recording client progress, and educating patient and families as needed. Duties are performed using a HIPAA compliant web-based platform.

Requirements

• Current Virginia Board of Nursing license.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience in outpatient mental health practice.
• Skilled in technology and software for medical responsibilities.
• Experience in documenting in medical records.
