Overview

The Content Producer, Marketing & Communications will develop, produce, capture, and edit compelling video, audio, and moving graphic content to further the mission of MusiCares. You are an experienced Content Producer that will play a key role in executing MusiCares’ digital strategy.

In Short

• Collaborate on and execute a digital content strategy.
• Write, capture, produce, and edit engaging audio, video, and static content.
• Attend MusiCares’ programs and events to produce content.
• Maintain an organized asset library of all MusiCares content.
• Produce and maintain impactful sizzle reels.
• Support the Senior Social Media Manager in content strategy.
• Identify professional development trainings for skill growth.
• Develop brand best practices for cohesive creative.
• Engage with campaign requests for cross-departmental initiatives.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a content creator.
• Comprehensive knowledge of photography and video hardware and software.
• Strong understanding of producing/editing video for social media.
• Hands-on production experience through the entire process.
• Knowledge of Mac Applications and Microsoft 365 Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• High emotional intelligence and decision-making skills.
• Flexible and open-minded with a team-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
