Graphic Design Intern (Summer 2025) - Remote

Want to break into political design? Get your start with us. Middle Seat is a full-service firm for progressive causes and candidates. We work with campaigns, nonprofits, advocacy organizations, and causes on the front lines of racial justice, climate action, privacy and tech policy, immigration rights, and economic justice. We’re looking for a creative, driven design intern to join our team for Summer 2025 (June - August 2025).

In Short

• Work closely with the design team to support real campaigns and causes.
• Create social media graphics, digital ads, print collateral, and branding assets.
• Bring your own creative voice while learning in a fast-paced environment.
• Design graphics for email, social media, and digital ads.
• Apply brand guidelines to new and existing creative.
• Build simple animations (GIFs, video loops) and edit video clips.
• Assist with print materials like flyers and proposals.
• Support the creative team on larger design projects.
• Receive and implement feedback from designers and clients.
• Collaborate with strategists and other creatives.

Requirements

• Strong interest in graphic design and political causes.
• Experience with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong communication skills.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to learn and take feedback.
• Portfolio showcasing design work.
