Utilization Review Physician - Rheumatology - Remote

Overview

This position offers a flexible opportunity for Board-Certified physicians in Rheumatology to conduct utilization reviews remotely.

In Short

• Flexible Independent Contractor (1099) position
• Requires a current unrestricted medical license in NM, MN, VA, MD, or TX
• Remote work-from-home opportunity
• Requires 1-2 hours of work per week
• Most reviews take 30-60 minutes to complete
• No minimum case requirements
• Covered by MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
• Strong computer and online navigation skills required

Requirements

• MD or DO, currently Board Certified in Rheumatology
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Rheumatology
• Unrestricted medical license in NM, MN, VA, or MD
• Strong computer and online navigation skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
