Remote Utilization Review Physician - Infectious Disease

Overview

This position is for Board-Certified Infectious Disease physicians to perform expert Utilization Reviews on a flexible, remote basis.

• Flexible independent contractor opportunity
• Requires a current medical license in New Mexico, Texas, or Minnesota
• 1–2 hours of work per week, potentially more
• Most reviews take 30–60 minutes
• No minimum case requirements
• Remote, work-from-home position
• Covered by MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy
• Independent contractor role (1099 status)
• Work can only be done within the U.S.
• Stay updated on clinical practices and treatment trends

Requirements

• MD or DO, currently Board Certified in Infectious Disease
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Infectious Disease
• Unrestricted medical license in New Mexico, Texas, or Minnesota
• Strong computer and online navigation skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
