PRN - Remote Utilization Review for Neurosurgery

Overview

This position offers a flexible independent contractor opportunity for Board-Certified Neurological Surgeons to conduct remote Utilization Reviews.

In Short

• Flexible hours, requiring just 1–2 hours per week.
• Must have a current medical license in New Mexico, Texas, or Minnesota.
• Work from anywhere in the U.S.
• Independent contractor role (1099 status).
• Most reviews take 30–60 minutes to complete.
• No minimum case requirements.
• Covered by MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Requires strong computer and online navigation skills.
• Background and drug screenings required prior to contracting.

Requirements

• MD or DO, currently Board Certified in Neurological Surgery.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Neurosurgery.
• Unrestricted medical license in New Mexico, Texas, or Minnesota.
• Strong computer and online navigation skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
