Biomedical Preventative Maintenance Technician / Utility Technician 3 - Remote

Overview

The PM Tech / Utility Tech 3 position is an entry-level technician capable of doing preventative maintenance on Medical equipment, and will be expected to learn the operation of a variety of biomedical equipment. A technical background will allow for advancement within the biomedical field. He/ She will be expected to participate in business growth and productivity improvement initiatives.

In Short

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on biomedical equipment
• Assist Utility Technicians as needed
• Identify personal training needs
• Maintain a clean and safe service area
• Ensure accurate database entry and reports
• Meet production goals
• Clean and decontaminate equipment
• Assist with Shipping and Receiving of equipment
• Work Overtime with short notice
• Participate in Bi-annual inventory

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience
• Basic troubleshooting ability
• Knowledge of hospital/homecare medical equipment
• Excellent customer communication skills
• Computer literate with database operations understanding
• Ability to operate basic electronic test equipment
• Knowledge of electronics, electricity, and fluidics
• Strong work ethic and focus on quality
• Organizational skills
• Ability to lift 50LBS
