Overview

The Senior Cloud Engineer (AI) will support the U.S. Department of Homeland Security by developing and optimizing cloud-based AI applications, focusing on Generative AI solutions.

In Short

Design and engineer cloud-native services and infrastructure.
Configure monitoring solutions for cloud infrastructure.
Develop Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps solutions.
Collaborate with engineering and product management teams.
Implement AI-focused system architectures.
Work with Azure and AWS environments.
Analyze complex problems and develop reliable solutions.
Experience with AI/ML/GenAI capabilities.
Must be able to work in an Agile environment.
Remote work eligible position.

Requirements

12 years’ experience in a related field or equivalent.
Deep expertise in Azure Cloud and AWS.
Proficiency in Terraform, Python, JavaScript, BASH, PowerShell, SQL, YAML, JSON.
Experience with DevSecOps/CICD pipeline management.
Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance.
Experience with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
Understanding of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
Technical certifications in Microsoft Azure or AWS.
Experience working in a remote team.
