Lifeguard - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a responsible and alert Lifeguard to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of swimmers and patrons in our aquatic facility.

In Short

• Monitor swimming areas constantly to prevent accidents and respond quickly to emergency situations
• Enforce all safety rules and regulations to prevent injuries and minimize risks
• Perform water rescues and provide emergency care when necessary, including CPR and First Aid
• Maintain a clean and safe pool area, including checking and maintaining appropriate water chemistry
• Conduct regular equipment checks and report any malfunctions or safety hazards
• Assist in the implementation of aquatic programs and activities
• Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from patrons
• Participate in regular training sessions to maintain and improve lifeguarding skills
• Complete accurate reports and documentation of incidents or accidents

Requirements

• Strong swimming abilities and physical fitness to perform water rescues and related duties
• Current certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent observation skills and ability to remain alert at all times
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patrons and team members
• Quick decision-making abilities and sound judgment in emergency situations
• Knowledge of water safety procedures and rescue techniques
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Previous lifeguarding experience preferred
• Familiarity with pool maintenance and water chemistry a plus
