Accounting Intern - Remote

Overview

As an Accounting and Data Entry Intern, you'll work closely with our accounting team to assist with various tasks, gaining exposure to real-world accounting practices within a fast-paced EdTech environment.

In Short

• Assist with data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Process invoices and payments, maintaining accounts payable and receivable.
• Organize and maintain financial documents electronically and physically.
• Follow up on outstanding payments & answering customer queries.
• Monitor and follow up closely with students’ failed payments and report any issues.
• Assist the accountant with preparing the list of tutor transfers.
• Learn and apply basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Support with other accounting tasks as assigned by the team.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures.
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
