Overview

The Construction Pre-Development Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of preconstruction services including site due diligence, zoning verification, and permitting. This role ensures that potential locations are streamlined and efficiently executed in preparation for handoff to Design and Construction.

• Manage preconstruction services including site due diligence and permitting.
• Coordinate with Real Estate to review potential locations.
• Develop scope and budget for preconstruction activities.
• Prepare Real Estate proposal presentations.
• Maintain relationships with partners and subcontractors.
• Conduct Preconstruction Progress Meetings.
• Prepare Preconstruction Status Reports.
• Manage Due Diligence and Preconstruction Budget/Costs.
• Organize transition meetings between project teams.
• Create a database of Lessons Learned during preconstruction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 7 years in preconstruction duties.
• Strong knowledge of project management software like Procore.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Word, and Excel.
• Exceptional analytical and presentation skills.
• Proven leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to interpret construction documentation.
