Overview

As a Senior CAD Technician & GIS Specialist at Innovation Consulting, you’ll support engineering and infrastructure projects for California’s largest water utility by creating high-quality CAD drawings, managing GIS data, and leading field surveys.

In Short

• Develop construction-level designs using advanced AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
• Conduct topographic surveys and maintain GIS records for infrastructure assets.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and surveying tools.
• 5+ years of experience in CAD drafting and GIS mapping.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to train and mentor new technicians.
• Valid California Class C Driver’s License.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience conducting topographic surveys.
• Strong communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, GIS, or equivalent preferred.
• AutoCAD Certified Professional or GISP Certification preferred.
