Junior Bookkeeper - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented junior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records. As a Bookkeeper, you will manage day-to-day financial transactions, oversee accounts, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

In Short

• Maintain financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Responsible for tax return preparation and maintenance of tax records.
• Provide documentation for external audits.
• Support compliance matters with regulatory bodies.
• Oversee the company’s general ledger.
• Document employee payroll accurately.
• Reconcile bank statements and transactions regularly.
• Assist with tracking company expenses.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles and tax laws.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig for 3x a week.
