Gravita is a fast-growing, tech-enabled accounting firm focused on supporting SMEs with personal tax matters. The Senior Associate in the Private Client team plays a crucial role in managing client relationships and ensuring tax compliance.

In Short

• Prepare annual self-assessment tax returns and calculate tax liabilities.
• Correspond with clients to support tax compliance.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and assist junior staff.
• Engage in tax planning including Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax.
• Develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Participate in work shadowing opportunities with senior tax staff.
• Contribute to the growth of the firm through collaborative efforts.

Requirements

• Qualified or part qualified ACCA, ACA or ATT, or qualified by experience.
• At least 2 years’ experience in accountancy with a focus on private client tax.
• Solid understanding of UK tax regulations and compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proactive approach to client management and problem-solving.
