Event Technician - Remote

Overview

The Event Technician supports the mission of the college by providing support for campus meetings, events, and conferences. This position requires a working knowledge of all campus facilities, space availability, and office layouts to ensure the timely and efficient setup for all campus events.

In Short

• Timely and accurate delivery, setup, and breakdown of furniture and equipment for campus events.
• Maintain inventory of furniture and equipment in storage area.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and performance.
• Perform light custodial work before, during, or after events.
• Attend meetings to convey needs related to event setups.
• Work a flexible schedule based on events.
• Coordinate with Facilities Physical Plant for additional items.
• Clean and repair furniture as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness of assigned vehicles.
• Engage in a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-year experience in a position involving daily physical labor.
• Preferred: Experience in event setup and breakdown.
• Ability to lift and move furniture.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.

• Must be eligible to work in the USA.
