Digital Communications Intern - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Digital Communications Intern to join our dynamic team in Brussels. This is a unique opportunity for motivated students with a passion for digital content, social media, graphic design and creative communications to gain hands-on experience within the European healthcare sector.

In Short

• Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid, 3 days/week on site, 2 days remote)
• Type: Internship (Mandatory part of academic curriculum)
• Duration: Minimum 4 months, maximum 6 months
• Starting Date: January 2026
• Support the development of branding and digital campaigns
• Create and publish engaging content across digital channels
• Design visual assets using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
• Contribute to newsletters, press releases, and other materials
• Maintain content on the GIRP website
• Gain experience in the European healthcare sector

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant communications, marketing, digital or graphic design program
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva/Figma or Adobe Creative Suite
• High attention to detail and proactive attitude
• Enthusiastic about social media and visual storytelling
• EU national or EU visa holder
• Prior experience in social media management is desirable
• Knowledge of motion design is a plus
• Interest in healthcare, policy, or European affairs
