Analyst, Label Administration - Remote

Overview

Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman is seeking an Analyst, Label Administration ideally with experience handling complex royalty accounting. This position can be based out of White Plains or Manhattan on a remote basis.

In Short

• Prepare royalty statements and allocation schedules for independent record label clients.
• Summarize artist and third-party agreements.
• Analyze sales data from various distribution sources.
• Set up product metadata and artist royalty rates in accounting software.
• Confirm publishing splits and obtain mechanical licenses.
• Work independently with strong time management skills.
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
• Handle other projects and duties as assigned.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience.
• Non-exempt, overtime eligible position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Over 2 years of experience in royalty accounting preferred.
• Working knowledge of royalty calculations and contract review.
• Experience with royalty accounting software (e.g., RoyaltyShare, Curve).
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
