Virtual Math and Science Educator - Remote

Overview

This position is for a Virtual Math and Science Educator who will deliver online instruction to students in a virtual learning environment. The educator will be responsible for teaching the curriculum, engaging students, and tracking their progress.

In Short

• Fully remote, 1099 contract position.
• Daily rate of $260-$300, negotiable.
• California High School and/or Middle School Math and/or Science certification required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Work hours approximately 7:30am-3:30pm PST, Monday through Friday.
• Teach on the district's virtual platform.
• Attend district professional development and faculty meetings.
• Record and track student progress.
• Partner with an in-class facilitator.
• LiveScan Fingerprinting required.

Requirements

• CA teaching certification in Math and/or Science.
• Experience in virtual teaching preferred.
• Ability to engage and nurture student relationships.
• Capability to create lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
• Strong organizational skills for tracking student performance.
• Must live near a LiveScan location or be willing to travel to one.
