Remote High School Math Teacher

Overview

This position is for a Remote High School Math Teacher who will deliver virtual instruction and guide students to course completion.

In Short

• Daily rate of $265, negotiable
• Fully remote, 1099 contract position
• Valid NYS teacher certification in Math required
• Work Monday to Friday, tentative hours 8am - 4pm EST
• Teach the curriculum on the district's virtual platform
• Attend district professional development and faculty meetings
• Record student progress and partner with in-class facilitators
• Immediate start dates based on application completion
• Access to educator portal to select jobs aligned to certification
• Promote creativity and engagement in a virtual learning environment

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Valid NYS teacher certification in Math
• Experience with virtual instruction preferred
• Ability to create lesson plans aligned with curriculum
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to track student grades and performance
• Creative teaching strategies
• Engagement skills for nurturing student relationships
