Undercover Investigator (Spanish Speaking) - Remote

Overview

The Undercover Investigator will use a variety of investigative methods to conduct field investigations in PETA's focus areas, including the use of animals for food, clothing, experimentation, and entertainment.

In Short

• Conduct undercover investigations in various industries that use animals.
• Travel to different states and stay on location for assignments.
• Prepare for and research assignments as directed.
• Document conditions using photography and videography.
• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
• Submit daily log notes in a detailed manner.
• Work closely with office-based staff to develop documented cases.
• Cooperate in criminal, civil, and regulatory proceedings.
• Ability to handle extreme stress and follow instructions carefully.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid U.S. driver's license.

Requirements

• Experience in a related field or relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel and be away from home for months.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Experience with audio-visual equipment.
• Diligent attention to detail.
• Ability to make sound judgments.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
