The Public Relations Strategist will advance animal rights by building a public relations strategy to generate media coverage of PETA's campaigns and coordinate outreach with media representatives.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of five years in public relations or media.
Willingness to be on call during weekends and evenings.
Extensive knowledge of the media industry.
Established relationships with national US reporters preferred.
Ability to build effective relationships.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
