In Short

Join the Tracker team reporting on press freedom violations.
Focus on regions operating on Pacific time.
Gather and verify information for database inclusion.
Write breaking news updates and long-form analysis.
Cultivate source relationships and press freedom knowledge.
Develop long-form investigative projects.
Coordinate with team members and partner organizations.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Interest in protecting press freedom rights.
Five-plus years of reporting experience.
Willingness to follow up on story leads.
Ability to use open sources for research.
Strong social media skills.
Ability to write quickly and accurately.
Collaborative mindset.
Strong data analytic skills.
