Bioinformatics Group Lead - Remote

Overview

Foresight Diagnostics is seeking an accomplished Bioinformatics Group Lead to join our innovative team. This is a player-coach role that includes both senior individual contributions along with management responsibilities.

In Short

• Lead the design and execution of complex studies and analyses.
• Develop and validate algorithms and software solutions for medical device applications.
• Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and product development teams.
• Optimize and scale bioinformatics pipelines.
• Provide technical, strategic, and career guidance to the bioinformatics team.
• Oversee preparation of technical documentation and regulatory submissions.
• Act as a bioinformatics subject-matter expert.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with regulatory bodies such as the FDA is preferred.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field.
• 7 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in developing algorithms for medical devices.
• Experience designing and analyzing complex studies.
• Proficiency in Python and bioinformatics tools.
• Experience with cloud computing environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Successful history of coaching and mentoring.

• Salary between $170,000 - $205,000.
