Accounting Support for Non-Profit Organization - Remote

Overview

foodsharing is a non-profit organization dedicated to the appreciation of food. Our work is organized democratically and supported by volunteers. To strengthen our organizational structure, we are looking to expand our team with external support in accounting.

In Short

• Ongoing financial accounting (income/expenditure)
• Account reconciliation
• Preparation of the annual financial statement
• Preparation for tax return creation
• Support for the treasurer
• Collaboration with financial administration for project accounting
• Management of receipts and digital accounting systems

Requirements

• Experience with non-profit organizations
• Knowledge of non-profit law
• Proficient use of common accounting software
• Independent and reliable working style

Benefits

• We prefer external accounting on a fee basis/service contract.
• A limited mini-job is also possible.
• Currently planning for a weekly workload of about 5 to 10 hours.
