Overview

Focus Interpreting is seeking a dedicated Live Transcriptionist to join our team. As a Live Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for converting spoken language into written text in real-time during various events, meetings, and discussions.

• Provide accurate and efficient live transcription services during meetings, conferences, and other live events.
• Ensure that transcriptions are clear, concise, and reflect the speaker's intent while adhering to formatting standards.
• Utilize transcription software and equipment to deliver high-quality text outputs in real-time.
• Collaborate with clients to understand specific transcription needs and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information covered during transcription sessions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English with exceptional spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
• Experience with transcription software and tools preferred.
• Strong typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute.
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to quickly understand and transcribe spoken language accurately.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high transcription quality.
