Senior/Staff Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

Fluidstack is looking for a Senior/Staff Security Engineer to lead our product and corporate security programs, safeguarding our internal and customer-facing systems, infrastructure, and data.

In Short

• Lead product and infrastructure security initiatives.
• Define and enforce security architecture standards.
• Conduct threat modeling and secure code reviews.
• Implement tooling for secrets management and intrusion detection.
• Establish incident response protocols.
• Embed security into CI/CD workflows.
• Meet customer and regulatory security requirements.
• Maintain documentation on security controls and risks.
• Support audit and certification efforts.
• Track emerging threats and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years in product, infrastructure, or cloud security roles.
• Expertise in securing cloud environments and containerized workloads.
• Understanding of secure development practices and DevSecOps.
• Experience with security tools like HashiCorp Vault and Snyk.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to balance security standards with pragmatism.
