Infrastructure Engineer (WAN) - Remote

Overview

Fluidstack is seeking a WAN Infrastructure Engineer to architect and operate the global network backbone connecting its data centers and GPU clusters, ensuring high-performance, secure, and reliable wide-area networks.

• Architect, implement, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency WAN links.
• Manage vendor relationships for transport and dark fiber.
• Monitor and optimize interconnect performance.
• Ensure security of network traffic across multi-tenant workloads.
• Automate WAN infrastructure configuration and monitoring.
• Deploy and maintain site-to-site VPNs and direct connects.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Implement redundancy and disaster recovery best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and software teams.
• Support global network expansion plans.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in network infrastructure engineering.
• Deep understanding of network routing protocols.
• Proven experience with fiber and transport circuits.
• Strong knowledge of Linux networking.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring and telemetry tools.
• Ability to manage projects across multiple sites.
• Excellent communication skills.
