Engineering Manager (JavaScript / NodeJS / Typescript) (Europe, Remote, m, d, f)

Overview

We are looking for a world-class Engineering Manager to lead a couple of small to mid-sized teams building our suite of SaaS digital advertisement products, powered by our ecosystem of loosely coupled NodeJS Microservices.

• Lead cross-functional teams in the conceptualization and implementation of complex features and services
• Stay 50% hands-on as an engineer
• Mentor and provide career guidance to engineers
• Collaborate to develop a long-term vision for engineering practices
• Deliver compelling products, features, and services
• Participate in defining the engineering hiring plan
• Ensure coding standards and patterns are observed
• Assist support and operations teams in resolving production issues
• Conduct 1:1s and performance discussions
• Write and review tasks and estimate workloads

Requirements

• Knowledge of Typescript and NodeJS based services
• Experience with AWS, Kafka, and GraphQL is a plus
• Great mentoring skills and team spirit
• Leadership abilities with a positive impact
• Ability to raise the bar of team quality and culture
