Field Investigator - Special Investigations Unit (SIU) - Remote

Overview

Ethos is looking to hire a full time, experienced Insurance SIU / Claims Field Investigator in the Harrisburg, PA area.

In Short

• Conduct recorded statements and interviews.
• Perform accident scene investigations.
• Conduct online research and witness canvassing.
• Identify compensability issues and misrepresentation.
• Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Possess strong computer and internet skills.
• Maintain a well-organized and persistent approach to investigations.
• Own necessary equipment including a vehicle and laptop.
• Previous experience in SIU or investigative roles is preferred.
• Work independently and remotely.

Requirements

• Previous SIU experience with an insurance carrier or investigative firm.
• Former military or law enforcement experience.
• Two years' experience in property loss investigations.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• May require Notary certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Must own a well-maintained vehicle and necessary equipment.
