In Short

• Support clients in identifying eligible personnel costs and expenses for research grants.
• Create, complete, and review financial documents to justify the requested funding.
• Assist clients with inquiries from tax authorities and support communication with authorities.
• Ensure proper documentation for tax administration and document relevant processes.
• Support and follow up on audits by German tax authorities to ensure smooth processing.

Requirements

• Education: Successfully completed commercial training or a degree in business administration, business law, financial management, or a comparable field. Alternatively, training as a tax clerk, balance sheet accountant, or in a similar commercial profession.
• Expertise & Experience: Ideally, initial experience in funding, finance, or tax matters or in processing investment and innovation projects.
• Analytical Skills: You work in a structured manner, have an eye for detail, and can prepare financial matters precisely.
• Communication Skills: You can present complex topics understandably and communicate professionally with clients and authorities.
