MSC Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Managed Services Center (MSC) Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide ePlus’ MSC and clientele with Network, Security and Systems support to maximize stability, availability, security, and functionality within the production environment. As a customer-interfacing contact, you will work to solve pressing business issues and drive positive change. You will leverage technology, advance ePlus MSC services and provide performance improvement feedback.

In Short

• Manage projects and tasks, including tool replacement, upgrades, and maintaining accurate data.
• Perform network/systems support in a Managed Services Center environment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose network/systems problems.
• Resolve and manage problems effectively.
• Work in a team environment with rotating shifts.
• Provide systems support functions for client end systems.
• Build high-level technical skills, including coding and automation.
• Work remotely with professional communication.
• Ability to work overnight shifts on a rotating schedule.

Requirements

• College degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• 1-2 years of networking experience.
• CCNA upon hire or within 6 months of employment.
• Experience with Cisco LAN and WAN Devices, Fortinet Infrastructure systems, and RHEL Linux.
• Practical knowledge of Enterprise Networking concepts.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with Cisco IOS-XE, IOS-NX, and Windows Server.
• CCNA Certification or NSE3 preferred.
