Overview

The Barista position involves preparing and selling a variety of coffee drinks, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

In Short

• Welcomes customers and determines their coffee interests.
• Educates customers about the coffee drink menu.
• Prepares coffee drinks following prescribed recipes.
• Maintains inventory and stocks supplies for the coffee bar.
• Ensures equipment operates correctly through maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Follows safety and sanitation regulations.
• Implements process improvements for quality results.
• Participates in educational opportunities to enhance job knowledge.
• Accepts ownership for new requests and opportunities.
• Works Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Requirements

• 2 years of food service experience and 1 year as a Barista.
• Basic knowledge of coffee types and characteristics.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale systems.
• Basic inventory control knowledge.
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills.
• Customer focus and service orientation.
• Action-oriented and organized.
• Ability to build client relationships.
• Attendance and punctuality.
