Host - Eataly Downtown - Remote

Overview

A Host is the first and last point of contact with guests at Eataly Downtown, responsible for greeting, seating, and managing the flow of the restaurant during service.

In Short

• Oversees the general functioning of the dining room during meal service.
• Maintains an accurate waitlist and seating chart.
• Takes and manages reservations.
• Balances guest flow among service stations.
• Informs guests when tables are ready and escorts them to their tables.
• Assists servers and bus persons as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours.
