Senior Network Security Consultant - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Network Security Consultant at Devoteam, you will be responsible for managing security events, incidents, and configurations while contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.

In Short

• Manage events, incidents, problems, changes, and configurations.
• Connect new partner sites.
• Administer and change configurations of security equipment.
• Renew security equipment across various countries.
• Identify and prioritize problems to minimize operational risks.
• Participate in risk analysis and assess business impacts.
• Propose necessary changes to resolve issues.
• Evaluate changes in terms of risks, costs, and complexity.
• Automate testing procedures for critical equipment.

Requirements

• Experience with proxy technologies, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, and VPN.
• Deep knowledge of proxy technologies like SQUID, BLUECOAT, and SYMANTEC.
• Experience with load balancing solutions, especially F5 LTM and GTM.
• Knowledge of DNS principles and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with ticket management systems like CARE and RT.
• Engineering degree or master's in IT, networking, security, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP) are a plus.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
