Media Designer (m/f/d) Digital & Print - Focus on Layout and Typesetting - Remote

Overview

We make health understandable. Our young publishing house will soon publish high-quality non-fiction books on health, nutrition, and a good life. Fact-based, clear, and accessible. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a creative and conscientious media designer.

In Short

• Development and implementation of book layouts and graphic concepts
• Design of interior parts and covers for non-fiction books (Print & E-Book)
• Creation of print-ready PDFs and print data according to the specifications of our printing partners
• Close collaboration with editing, production, and publishing management

Requirements

• Training or degree in media design, graphic design, or comparable
• Very good knowledge of InDesign (Print Layout), ideally also Photoshop
• Experience in creating book layouts suitable for target audiences
• Experience in print prepress (softproof, color management, bleed, etc.)
• Structured working style, precision, and a sense of typography
