Working Student: Social Media (m/f/d) 30 hours/month - Remote

Overview

The Deutsche Sarkom Foundation is committed to supporting people with rare tumor diseases, known as sarcomas. We raise awareness, promote research, and give a voice to those affected. To strengthen our social media team, we are looking for a creative and dedicated person for the position of Working Student: Social Media (m/f/d) 30 hours/month starting on October 1, 2025.

In Short

• Independent creation of social media content (posts, reels, slideshows, videos, etc.)
• Editing and cutting video content (CapCut)
• Designing graphics and slides (Canva)
• Managing and maintaining various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
• Creative idea development within the team
• Contributing to the planning of campaigns and theme weeks
• Optionally, appearing in front of the camera

Requirements

• Experience in social media content creation, ideally professionally or during studies
• Proficient in Canva and CapCut
• Creative, with a knack for finding visual ideas quickly
• Ability to empathize with a sensitive, medically emotional topic like cancer
• Careful work, with a solid understanding of medical information and critical source evaluation
• Enjoy working in a team, being self-responsible, and solution-oriented
• Comfortable appearing in front of the camera
