Overview

As a Senior Cloud Database Engineer, you will advise customers on Cloud best practices, support the operation and maintenance of data systems, improve scalability and observability, and bring a modern, platform-oriented approach to your work. You will grow your technical skills and get a first-hand view on trends as they are emerging in the wider industry.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience
• 4+ years supporting databases, particularly Postgres
• 4+ years in a major cloud offering, AWS or Azure preferred
• Experience using ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira
• Previous customer facing experience in a consulting role
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases
• Proven expertise troubleshooting technical issues
• Understanding of data architecture and relational database concepts
• Ability to be responsive in a remote-first team
