Virtual Paralegal - Remote

Overview

An exciting opportunity for a full-time virtual paralegal role, focusing on immigration and family law, while working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

In Short

• Prepare USCIS forms and collect supporting documents for case submission.
• Analyze case documents for proper case preparation.
• Perform basic legal research on U.S. immigration and/or family law.
• Communicate with clients for case management.
• Respond to client inquiries within 48 hours.
• Document case management in firm CMS.
• Communicate with external agencies and opposing counsel.
• Maintain rapport within the production team.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• Bilingual communication skills (English and another language preferred).
• Basic English writing skills.
• Tech savvy (Microsoft Suite Products a plus).
• Detail-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage a caseload of 40+ cases.
• Experience in immigration and/or family law.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in a remote work environment is helpful.
