Incident Response Analyst - SkillBridge - Remote

Overview

The Incident Response Analyst will support the Incident Response lifecycle through triage and investigation of cybersecurity detections, while participating in CrowdStrike’s SkillBridge internship program.

In Short

• Support Incident Response lifecycle via triage and investigation of detections.
• Develop detection criteria across various technologies.
• Identify gaps in data and tooling.
• Provide information security reporting and metrics.
• Participate in incident response and manage escalations.
• Drive process development for Incident Response lifecycle.
• Must be a current Active Duty Service Member.
• Available for 90-180 days during SkillBridge.
• Open to US citizens and Green Card holders.
• Full-time training under military orders.

Requirements

• Experience responding to security events.
• Knowledge of Mac, Linux, and Windows OS.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with log analysis and SIEM workflows.
• Strong project management skills.
• Desire to grow technical and soft skills.
• Scripting experience is a plus.
• Experience with host and network forensics.
• Education in information security or related field.
• Applicable security certifications preferred.
