Overview

Reid Accountants + Advisors is an independent, full-service accounting and advisory firm specializing in accounting and consulting services for businesses and individuals. We are seeking an experienced Supervisor, Tax & Accounting to join our team, responsible for reviewing, assessing, and recording clients' business transactions, overseeing accountants, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

In Short

• Oversee and verify accuracy of general ledger accounts.
• Manage all phases of tax planning, preparation, review, compliance, and research.
• Prepare and review various tax returns including Individual and Corporate.
• Supervise financial performance in relation to budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with Partners and Managers on assignments and projects.
• Requires Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA certification.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a CPA firm.
• Proficiency in UltraTax CS, Checkpoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Flexible work schedule with remote to hybrid transition.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (Required)
• CPA certification or CPA candidate
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a CPA firm
• Proficiency in UltraTax CS, Checkpoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Intuit products (Preferred)
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
