Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior DevOps Engineer will work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy, operate, and continuously improve our cloud-based infrastructure, helping to architect, develop, and implement a secure operating environment for web and API based solutions.

In Short

• Architect, develop, and deliver fully automated multi-account global cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Support continuous delivery pipelines for deployment to all layers of the SDLC.
• Conduct Infrastructure as Code reviews ensuring high programming standards.
• Monitor and tune infrastructure performance.
• Identify and correct performance bottlenecks.
• Develop and support observability, logging, and APM solutions.
• Provide mentorship and training to team members.
• Troubleshoot issues in the application platform.
• Support cloud and data center operations.
• Participate in on-call duties and incident response.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience with AWS and large-scale distributed systems.
• 5+ years experience in software development and DevOps.
• 5+ years experience with CI/CD practices and tools.
• 5+ years experience with automation programming in Python or similar.
• Extensive experience with AWS network and security implementations.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, or Pulumi.
• Advanced Windows and Linux administration experience.
• Experience with observability tools.
