Transportation Aide - Remote

Overview

The Transportation Aide is responsible for safely transporting patients throughout the hospital, ensuring timely and efficient service while maintaining communication with dispatch and other healthcare staff.

In Short

• Part-time position with shifts from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Responsible for transporting patients to tests and procedures.
• Maintains transportation equipment and completes necessary records.
• Collaborates with nursing staff and other departments.
• Ensures patient confidentiality and safety.
• Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to participate in safety initiatives.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work part-time shifts including weekends.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
