Overview

As a Social Media Freelancer for Complex Style, you will execute the voice of Complex Style across various social platforms, curating and creating engaging content that resonates with our audience while managing community interactions and tracking social trends.

In Short

• Work weekday nights from 6pm to 12am ET.
• Manage Complex Style's social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Create and curate content for social platforms.
• Lead community management and moderation.
• Pitch viral content ideas to the news team.
• Develop creative assets using Photoshop and Premiere/CapCut.
• Identify and create content based on trending memes and topics.
• Support social goals such as growth and engagement.
• Track and share best practices with internal teams.
• Coordinate editorial social post schedules with the branded social team.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of social media and editorial experience.
• Deep understanding of Complex Style's content and voice.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Willingness to work nights and some holidays.
• Knowledge of streetwear, fashion, music, and pop culture.
• Fluency in all major social media platforms.
• Proven success in driving audience engagement.
• Self-management and proactive attitude.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Premiere Pro.
