Junior Research Assistant - Climate Diplomacy - Remote

Overview

The Junior Research Assistant will support the Climate Diplomacy Team in providing research and logistical assistance to Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in international climate negotiations.

• Conduct research on international climate negotiations.
• Assist in implementing the Paris Agreement for LDCs and SIDS.
• Help develop capacity building workshops for new negotiators.

Requirements

• Experience in gender, capacity building, or agriculture for the LDC team.
• Experience in climate finance or gender for the SIDS team.
• A Master’s degree or two years of related experience.
• Strong research and synthesis skills.
• Knowledge in international climate change issues.
• Organizational skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Project management and travel coordination experience is a plus.
• Excellent English writing and verbal skills.
