Senior Tax Associate - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Tax Associate at ClearPoint CPA’s, you will work directly with clients across industries, assist in tax planning, and lead the preparation and review of various tax returns.

In Short

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Conduct tax research and provide technical support on complex tax issues.
• Assist in year-round tax planning for clients.
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior staff and interns.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and support effective communication.
• Stay updated on current tax laws and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• CPA license or eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation.
• 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
• Strong understanding of federal and multi-state tax regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with tax software such as UltraTax, Lacerte, or CCH Axcess.
