Senior Accountant (m/f/d) - Part-time or Full-time - Remote

In Short

• You will take over the financial and balance sheet accounting of Checkmk GmbH and Checkmk Inc.
• Evaluate and record business transactions in collaboration with colleagues from invoicing.
• Manage payments and maintain fixed asset accounting.
• Book payroll for various countries and reconcile accounts.
• Handle provisions, accruals, and consolidations.
• Prepare individual and consolidated financial statements according to HGB.
• Independently prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Collaborate with the controlling team on monthly reporting.
• Responsible for VAT returns and quarterly reports.
• Support the tax advisor in preparing tax returns.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training with a focus on accounting.
• Several years of experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of HGB and good knowledge of VAT law or IFRS.
• Proficient in DATEV and familiar with office applications.
• Experience in balance sheet accounting and preparing financial statements.
• Ability to work independently and with high quality standards.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
